Did you know that in Texas it can actually reach 77 degrees in January? Don’t worry this post will not be about weather. Well,  not solely about the weather. I’ll only take up a paragragh, maybe two, concerning the perfection that is the Texas Hill Country in winter.

I can easily endure the few 30 something degree days I’ve experienced so far when they are interspersed among days like today. I actually had windows open and don’t get me started talking about how I sat on the back deck reading as the sun melted my cares away. Thank you, Lord Jesus was all I could verbalize and I did over and over again. I think He got the point.

Hmmm, that’s interesting. I find myself unable to think of anything but the weather now that I brought it up.

I guess if I’m going to keep my word I’ll just have to try writing a real post another day.

  1. It’s so good to hear you’re happy where you are! What a journey it took to get you there!!

  2. After I read what I just posted I thought I better clarify… I meant a journey it took to get you to the home you’re in not a journey to get you happy :o ) Oh you know what I mean, right?

  3. Weird, I commented on this post already but it’s not showing up. I wonder what happened? Glad to hear you’re in a state and a home you love. The weather sounds amazing!

  4. Haha, now you’re going to think I’m stalking you because the other comments finally showed up… this will be my 4th. Ooops!

  5. It’s wonderful that you’re able to enjoy such nice weather! We’ve had about 30 inches of snow up here in Washington! While plenty of us have cabin fever (hence more frequent blogging) there are still many things to be grateful for. I firmly believe an “attitude of gratitude” is a matter of the heart and not circumstance. I’m grateful that my husband makes it safely to and from work and our roof hasn’t collapsed as have so many around us. It still is nice to hear of someone grateful for the blessings they do have though instead of griping or grumbling. Have a fruitful and productive New Year! Praising Him all the Time in 2009!!!

I lurked for awhile you were in the process of moving to Texas. I read alot of your comments on Amy’s blog. I remember how happy she was that you were coming. After her post today I have decided that I am going to keep you to fill my “I need Amy” fix. I already know that your heart for God is true. So if you don’t mind…Can I adopt you and your blog?

  8. Tiffany, I wrote you an email last night. I hope you received it.

Theresa, You’re always welcome here but in all honesty I will never be able to fill your Amy void. She’s much smarter, more entertaining and her theological knowledge far surpasses mine. Let’s face it, we both need her.

  9. Amy is unique, very smart and is dearly loved. I will share that with you and maybe we can both learn a little and make her proud. :)
