Last year our church (of about 2000) decided to read the Bible together in a year. We all started with our One Year Bibles and set out on what we called the Route 66. It was amazing to sit with friends/family and talk about what God was teaching us through our daily reading. It felt so cool to know we were all on the same journey together. We also use the method S.O.A.P. for Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer. Great news is, we're all doing it again this year! It's so awesome to open God's word each day and let Him speak to us. Great post Lauren! I’m getting into God’s word more and more.
